Ms Vila Nova - Ponta Delgada (Sao Miguel)

Breakfast offered amazing options every morning.

It had excellent location, short walk to the harbour and the mountains in the eastern end of the island, the port, a lot of restaurants and shops, and Ponta Delgada center. Our twin room was equipped with double bed and a balcony, for instance;))

Very quick check-in, immaculately clean and soundproof rooms with balcony, bathroom with bathtub, a billiard table.

Good free wi-fi and comfy rooms. Parking is tight, reserve ahead!

Marvellous service and the food is reasonably priced. The rooms are perfectly clean and soundproof and they have a work desk, a multi-channel television, and a seating area. The breakfast is rich and hot, includes plenty of meals.

Convenience: close to downtown Ponta Delgada as well as to the airport and the ring-road to get out of town easily.

great views and lovely touches

Upon arrival, I was really surprised by an upgraded twin room that had a wonderful balcony with a sea view! The little touches like welcome biscuits and local tea. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and checked me in early, which I greatly appreciated.

A very pleasant stay

Close to all that Ponta Delgada has to offer. Comfortable, large rooms with pleasant views across town and to the sea. Good breakfast selection, helpful, friendly staff and high standards of cleanliness.

I suppose the pool area could be a bit more interesting. Thats all I can think of!

We greatly enjoyed this staying. Ideal location very near the airport, always polite staff, everything was perfect. We got impeccably clean room with a balcony...

A good stay with a view

The spacious room offered plenty of storage, and the breakfast featured fresh fruit and quality options. The pool area was a nice escape, and the staff were helpful with recommendations.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning kept shutting off. The bathroom decor felt dated and could use some refreshing.

Clean room with AC, nice pool, very nice staff, fair breakfast, nice parking and location, excellent value for money. I'll be back!!!!!!

I really enjoyed the amazing breakfast with fresh fruit and quality options! The location was perfect for exploring Ponta Delgada. The only downside was the occasional noise from planes overhead 🛩️

The hotel was in a great spot, just a short walk from the marinas where we spotted some whale watching tours. The comfy beds and spacious rooms. Daily breakfasts were delicious, and we loved using the games room for some billiards. Perfect for those looking for a chill getaway with friends.

One downside was the air conditioning, not working . It got a bit warm at night, and we had to keep the windows open, which attracted mosquitoes.

I staff at the hotel Vila Nova was at all times very friendly and helpful, and the hotel as well as the rooms are very clean. The hotel is located within a few minutes of walking along the harbour promenade from the town center and has a swimming pool, which we especially used in the afternoon after a day of whale watching or island tour.
